Erasmus Enterprise is looking for a Marketing & Communication Manager who has a passion for marketing & communication and is willing to further develop the vision of Erasmus Enterprise.

You are an entrepreneurial type with great affinity for the start-up and scale-up world in which you effortlessly switch between various large-scale projects. You like to lead and thanks to your experience and enthusiasm, you know how to get everyone in the organization on board with your marketing plans.

Job profile

  • You are responsible for managing the marketing team (1 Videographer and Content Creator, 1 Design & Marketing Coordinator and two interns);
  • You are responsible for making short- and long-term marketing strategies;
  • in addition, you have final responsibility for the budgets for the different marketing channels. Developing communication tools in collaboration with the Design & Marketing Coordinator and Videographer and Content Creator;
  • Devise, execute and evaluate marketing campaigns (online & offline) for large-scale Erasmus Enterprise projects, including Erasmus University Challenge, Talent for Transition and NL Startup Competition;
  • Management of the website, social media channels such as Instagram and LinkedIn and public relations; in close cooperation with the Event Manager;
  • Collaborating with our affiliates Erasmus Research and Business Support (ERBS), Erasmus Center for Entrepreneurship (ECE), YES! Delft and community members on marketing & communication;
  • Monitoring trends and organizations and organizing communication with stakeholders and the Erasmus Enterprise community to make Erasmus Enterprise visible inside and outside the university.

Job requirements

  • Successful completion of a marketing/communications degree at least at HBO level;
  • At least five years of relevant work experience in an international context;
  • (Online) Marketing and brand management are right up your street;
  • These s-words appeal to you: social media, SEO, SEA;
  • You know Google Analytics like no other;
  • You like and have an affinity with design;
  • Experience and mastery of programs and software systems we work with (CM, WordPress, Mailchimp, Photoshop);
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Broad experience as a spokesperson and with corporate communication and branding;
  • You have successful related project management experience;
  • Good communication skills and you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment;
  • Connecting and entrepreneurial. Hands-on mentality;
  • Good verbal and written command of the Dutch and English language.

Terms of employment

Fixed-term contract: one year, with the possibility of a longer-term contract if you show that you fit in well with our team.

Rotterdam, minimum 24 hours a week

Are you in the 3rd year of your Marketing & Communication studies and looking for a versatile internship? Then we are looking for you! We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious content & social media marketing intern to join our team.

What will you do?

As a Junior Marketeer at Erasmus Enterprise, you will support in all marketing activities carried out. This means that it is a very broad and varied internship in which you will have to deal with all kinds of fields in marketing.

But what will you be doing? You will actively think along in social media strategy, but you will also create creative content and support the maintenance of social media channels and give your input on improvements for the website. You will make sure Erasmus Enterprise comes to life online and radiates exactly what we stand for.

You coordinate various actions, from drafting mailings to distinguishing between various target groups. You are able to spot opportunities and trends playing out online and seize them to create an interesting post or blog.

What do you have to offer?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven 3rd-year student with a marketing & communication-oriented degree for a collaborative internship of at least 5 months, fitting within the internship period of the course.

  • You have hbo/wo working and thinking level;
  • You are studying marketing & communications or a similar course;
  • You can spot and seize opportunities;
  • You are independent and able to devise and implement actions;
  • You are truly a language filter and write original, powerful, and effective texts;
  • You are creative and proficient in Adobe or open to learning it;
  • You are available for a minimum of 24 hours per week;

Rotterdam, minimum 32 hours a week

Are you in the 3rd year of your Facility Management study and looking for a dynamic internship? Then we are looking for you! We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious facility management intern to join our team.

What will you do?

You will be supervised by the Event Manager and Community Manager and support in various tasks related to facilities management. Some of the daily tasks include:

  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of general facility management of the N and Q buildings;
  • Assistance in event management in the Q & N Buildings;
  • Assistance in ensuring both physical and wireless access to Erasmus Enterprise buildings;
  • Assist in acting as daily first point of contact for the cleaning service;
  • Arrange and issue parking tickets for tenants;
  • Handle incoming service requests Q and N buildings and liaise with the Erasmus University Rotterdam service desk on these;
  • Assistance in maintaining the Enterprise Community through Bisner.com;
  • Assist in monitoring the quality of office supplies (TV screens, office chairs, etc.) and meeting rooms;
  • Assistance in other daily building-related matters.

If you intern at Erasmus Enterprise, you will be part of our team and our community. You will learn all about our working methods and support in facility management. Among other things, you will ensure that the services and all facilities within the Erasmus Enterprise buildings run smoothly, so that the tenants, partners, and students can perform their work to the best of their ability.

What do you have to offer?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven 3rd-year student with a facility-oriented education such as HBO Facility and/or Event Management for a collaborative internship of at least 5 months, fitting within the internship period of the programme.

  • You have a strong affinity with facility management;
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English given the international nature of our tenants;
  • You describe yourself as: Accurate, enthusiastic, representative, communicative, quality-oriented;
  • You have an affinity for innovation and entrepreneurship;
  • If you hold a B driving licence, that is an advantage.
